Hello Everyone,

Are Employment Agencies suppose to pay you the Christmas holiday?

Only if you have a contract that says they do. It is not required by law.

Just as an aside, many of the larger staffing agencies will pay certain holidays if you have met their criteria, which is normally having worked a certain number of billable hours. I'm working through such an agency right now, but I would have to have worked 1,000 hours with them to get Christmas Day paid; I've worked 40. :rolleyes: :(

But that is a matter of company policy. The law does not require it.
