I have two sons who live with their grandparents. Court awarded custody due to exceptional circumstances. Since the court ruling every time I go to get them or make arrangements I hear the same song and dance of "We dont want to come there" or "can't you just visit us at home". This is very hurtful for me since I am trying to mend the damaged relationship. I am trying hard. On top of it all, the grandparents consistently bash my character and say "well they dont want to come see you but we tell them its a court order" Instead of encouraging them they are discouraging them. They don't want the kids to have a relationship with me they are completely content on having the kids forget me altogether. Need advice, help if any? If I go to the courts I cant truly file comtempt charges because they are allowing me to see them but it never is on good terms. I have to put up with sulking children and grandparents who allow it to progress. But they always change the dates or make reasons why it cant happen. I just drove 3 hours to get them tonight and they didnt want to come with me and the grandparents were not encouraging them.

File for contempt and file to modify custody due to the grandparents not fostering the father's relationship with his biological children. If I remember correctly, they only have custody because the ex-wife hid them for 6 years? I personally would keep filing for contempt every time they go against the order and not require the children to go with the father as the court order states.

Make sure in the process of you taking this back to court you try to keep contacy write letters to them and call at least twice a week to try to show them you really want to be a part of their life.. I wish you all the luck in the world, remeber stay calm and have a good attitude about everything even though it hurts.
