Hi, lets get to the bottom of this. I would kindly like to have an iput from a lawyer regarding this issue:
Tenanat- Landlord agreement ends August 31st, but the Tenant continues to live there. On Sept 14, tenant and friend walk in the building, and friend of tenant is caught on camera damaging a statue worth $5000. Since the lease agreement is over, but the tenant never gave a written notice of termination, is he and his cosignors still liable under the "offer to lease" agreement?? Can the property management still go after the co-signors and serve them if they dont want to pay. management also has the name of the guy who damaged the statue.
LEt me know, I would like to hear your thoughts and your expertise. Thanks.
Oh yes... This is in Canada
