So I purchased a black computer chair from staples about two months ago. I put it together exactly how the directions stated and the chair shows no signs of damage. A few weeks ago a sharp metal rod somehow broke out of the chair and poked through the material on the side of my chair. The metal is razor sharp and black so it blended in and I didn't noticed it until i sliced my arm on it. I now have a semi-large deep red scar on my arm. Do I have to pay to get rid of this thing of should the company pay?

A new chair. Even if it where the old one, it wouldn't make it any less defective.
