Ok.

Here is the situation.
I was recently looking into moving into a new apartment. They place looked fine. And I went ahead and wanted to get through some of the paperwork so I signed a few things. (TAA lease being one of them).

Originally i was told i could move in on the 15th, now they say it is the 16th.
The main issue here tho is that i have not even walked into the apartment that I will be staying at! I have not even seen the inside of it. Not only have i not seen it but they refuse to show it to me. I have called or dropped by every day for a week and a half to see the apartment. Each time they cite "we cant show it to you till its ready" nonsense. Which tells me that if they cant show me the apartment that i am getting slighted somehow.

Now after the way they have treated me. Their unwillingness to earn my business or help me in any way. Not to to mention the rude and derogatory manner that they did business with me after I had signed the lease. I want to know what sort of laws might work in my favor if i break lease before ever moving in or paying a month of rent.

I feel like there has been a lack of service on their part and that I should not be obligated to pay for something that they refuse to show me.

Anyone have any clever ideas or helpful advice?

I am not an attorney and this is just my advice. I would read through the lease very carefully and find a term or condition that the property managers have broken or not fulfilled and base my termination of the lease on that. Then I would consult a real estate attorney and see how strong of a case I have, consultation is usually free. If not try looking into a local law school for some help if there is one, Good Luck and God bless.
