Hello.

I am completely new to this forum and hope that I can learn some things while here.

I have a massachusetts child support question. I am a non-costodial parent who's son just reached the age of 18. I just found out that he is no longer attending highschool because he dropped out. Not only did his mother not inform me but she is still allowing him to live with her and not work.

He has had trouble with the law in the past 2 years and it seems since then, I am being shut out. I did not share joint legal custody of Christian while he was under 18.

My question basicly is concerning support payments. If he is not in school then what is the normal ruleing on continuation?

He has been allowed to not attend school and not work for almost a year now. (since his junior year in highschool).

Does anyone have any comments or answers?

thank you,

just a side note to the above, Mom has apparently allowed my son to stay home and not attend school because she just seperated from her husband (good guy actually) and my son has been the stay home baby sitter.
