  I work for (retail chain). I am a manager of a department. To save money, lowes has fired the cleaning service. The store manager has told all the employees that we all have to take turns cleaning the public restrooms. He gave all of us a schedule of when we have to clean them. Can they do that?? It is definitely NOT on my job description as a manager of a dept. Would it be insubordination if I refuse? If I must, should I be give specific information on the proper and proffesional techniques of cleaning a public restroom. (cleaners, gloves, mask, etc.) Help!! I clean my own at home, but it is me and my wife!
