I bought 3 ac of land in knoxville Ar. in May of 2004 and just got aproved for a loan on a 1400 sq ft modgular house trailor. I bought the land from a realestate dealer at Century 21 who did not tell the wife and I it was land locked. The land has access through a very good graveled road that was put in by a man who sub-devided it into 9 - 3ac lots, ours being at the end of the road. the problem is he never redgersted the plots and road with Johnson county. Unknown to us the first 100' goes through another land owners land next to the highway we have to turn off of to go down to our property. This is the only access because of a flood plane all the way up to the edge of our property and the back of our property is cut off by a RR track and gov. property. This land owner does not want the public to be able to travel this drive so he will not sign paper work giving us a legal right of way to our property. In not doing so , the bank wont give us a loan for a home, so we are stuck with a $12,000.00 peace of land at the age of 51 we cant have a home on. This man knows this, but does not care. We can not start over again because now I am disabled, and the wife is working hard to take care of us and like everyone else, we just get by anyway and can not afford a lawyer. What can we do?:(
