I need help.

Im aware I most likely will have to review my lease agreement but i figured i would give this a shot too...


I moved in april to my current apartment. On the lease was my roommate, her boyfriend, and I in a two bedroom apartment. They shared the master bedroom and I had the spare room. They broke up, and he moved out. He is still on the lease and wants to have us release him from it, but the rent would be expensive for the two of us and we feel if he signed the lease than he should continue paying it through next april.


Obviously we would need to find another roommate to get him off the lease, but how would that work when we have a two bedroom apartment and we are each taking up the rooms?


I would love any advice. Thanks!

Your only hope is to sublet for the extra amount.

You and your current roomate may want to consider bunk beds, because it is going to be extremely difficult to convince a new roomate to sleep on the couch.
