Several years ago, I had a tenant in a property who claimed the house was haunted. She contact a society and had them come out to the house, unknown to me, and since then a cable network tv has gotten hold of the footage. They plan to air a story on the house without my permission. I'm not certain what information about the house or owner they plan to use, but what rights do I have?

Also, the local newpaper has contacted me stating they are also running a story on the house. Are they allowed to publish pictures of the house without my permission? Are they allowed to publish any owner information without my permission?

Your only recourse would be if they issued a false statement about you or the house. Then you could sue them for libel or slander.

They do not have the right to enter your property.

But if it were my house, I would start selling admission tickets.
