Can a landlord ask me to leave my home while they bring someone into the home? Supposedly an appraiser is coming by. They have asked that nobody be home. Don't I have the right to be here?

Yes, you have the right, but it would make it so much easier. Why do you have a problem with this?

Because I was told the owner was going to lie on the refinance papers and I don't want any part of that.

What does a rumor have to do with you? Why is his personal loan YOUR business?

your tone sucks! you like to post on boards degrading people and knocking them down, your replies aren't needed or wanted

but to answer your question, i live in the home, lying on loan papers is fraud and i don't want to have to move out when they go to jail or forclose because they are fined so much they can't afford it

here's hoping whatever is bugging you gets better!

You don't have to like my "tone". I believe that you are overstepping your boundaries. I have no idea how staying in the home during the appraisal will hinder the loan. Of course it is fraud, depending upon the severity of the lie. I would expect the underwriters to do their due diligence. I wouldn't expect a tenant, though, to overstep his boundaries.
