I recently quit my job. I gave a two week notice, and worked as I promised to the final day I gave. My last day worked was Sep 13,2007. I was told that my final paycheck, 20 hours worked plus 30 hours of earned time, would be ready for me on the next pay day which was Sep 28,2007. When I called and asked for my final paycheck they said "I forgot to do it." When I called the coporate office they said there was nothing they could do until the center where I worked put in for my check. The coporate office didn't even show me as terminated? I have heard from others that in Arizona if they do not give me my final paycheck on the next regular payperiod that they owe me 3 times the amount. Is this true? What are my rights?

File a claim with the Arizona Industrial Commission. In Arizona employees who quit are to be paid on the regular payday for the pay period during which the termination occurred.
