My friend went to a timeshare meeting Saturday. Her husband talked her into buying a timeshare. She was apposed to it from the beginning. Her and her husband havn't done anything but fight about it since then , even on the trip, even in the office signing the papers. She wants to cancel.

I've been looking for the amount of time you have to back out of a timeshare in Tennessee and I can't seem to find it. She called them today and told them she didn't want it. They gave her the run around. Does she have any recourse? This will also be a financial hardship and her husband thinks he is made of money.

The money is to come out of her checking account every month. She said she was thinking of closing her account and then they wouldn't be getting anything. She hasn't given them the whole down payment. They are to take this out also each month for four months.
