Ok i worked at one of the biggest retail stores in the US i had been there 2 yrs. Over the course of the 2 yrs i met this guy, we became involved and that was the beginning of this nightmare. There were 2 support managers an ex-girlfriend another associate he called a friend and another married associate he had an affair with. While me and him were together the support managers and the other associate acted like they had no problem with me. I got pregnant he left me went back to the ex-girlfriend. Me and him were in a feud about what was going to be when i had my baby. I made him mad and that made them mad.let me add to that i also knew they were ripping the store off and they were scared then that i would tell(which now i have done). from that point on everything went down hill.
Every other night i worked i would get called in the office accused of things i hadnt done(sometimes by the support managers first so that they could cuss me out b4 calling another manager in to actually try and get me fired). I got 2 write-ups because of it. I got fired the first time because (someone) called in to the 1800 number and said i was upfront using profainty towards my csm. I got my job back because even the manager said it sounded suspecious being the call was anomyous and the csm said i never used profanity towards her.
Ok i come back same mess all over again getting called in the office over and over. This one night the ex-boyfriend of the other associate known as (the friend) came in i was door greeter. Me and him had become friends when i was the my babys father all 4 of us use to hang out. So he began to talk to me i just listened. He continued to tell me how he was miserable w/o her da da da.... and if things continued he would come to the store one night put a gun to her side and make her leave with him. I just told him that was the wrong thing to do and he left. That was on a wed. nite she didnt return to work till fri. nite. as soon as she came in all though we had our problems I told her what he had said.
That nite i was called in the office and they tried to give me another write-up saying that i endangered her life. They said that i was suppose to tell management.(although it was her personal life and we werent suppose to mix personal with professional).This was after all of 10 min. after the manager said he didnt even know if he could he had to research it and it only took ten min. because he had my two worse enemies standing there with him.
I told them i werent signing anything until i spoke with the main manager because of the problems i had with the girl and the support manager in there at the time i knew i was being set up. So i was terminated for insubordination. Since then this girl had been getting in contact with my babys father who now happens to be my fiance and telling him lies to try and seperate us again she telling him that supposily ppl have told her i am pregnant with another mans baby telling him that im sleeping with another man da da da...
My question is can they fire me or even right me up for the endangerment thing and what can i do to stop the constant hasassment and slander against my name. oh yea and the discrimination thing what these people have against me is that my babys father is black i am white and they want him back with the ex because she is black. HELP!!!!!!!any professionals advice would be greatful!
