Hey, CBS is airing a movie about Clara Harris, the woman who ran over
her cheating husband three times with her Mercedes.

What's with everyone killing their spouses these days? What happened
to the good 'ol days when wives divorced their cheating husbands and
took them to the cleaners, not the cemetery?

The movie, Suburban Madness will be on Sunday night Oct. 3.

I was living in Michigan during the burning bed case. That's the case
of the woman who was regularly beaten by her abusive husband, and was
just as regularly ignored by every law enforcement and social service
agency to which she turned for help, so one night, with her husband
sleeping after having administered the regular beating, she took a can
of gasoline, poured it around the bed, and set it on fire.

She was found Not Guilty on grounds of self-defense.

And I was living in Virginia whan Loreena Bobbitt cut off the penis of
her abusive, philandering husband, the infamous John Wayne Bobbitt,
with a butcher knife while he slept.

She got probation.

So much for the good ol' days ... (8-)

Every killing is a worthwhile to bring on film and every beating too.
It is educational and provides entertainment too at the same time.

It is happening here in Oz too. Not so much the wives, but the husbands and
boyfriends, who resolve their domestic difficulties by shooting the wife
and kids.

Road rage - a man decided to ram the back of the car that irritated him. He
followed it into the home driveway. Unfortunately, when he hit the car,
the 6-year-old son of the house was in between. He was killed outright.

It seems to be largely an anger thing. But I love your last sentence. Is
it that lawyers are too expensive?

It's not whether you win or lose. It's where you place the blame.
