ok so my ex who I never was married to is married now and wants to take my son where he is stationed in Hawaii. Well here it is...My son is 4 years old and I didn't even know that I had a son until she email me when he was a year and a half old. I stepped up to the plate and signed the birth certificate and then she got a order out of the state of California for me to pay child support for 425 dollars so I paid 600 to give her extra while I was in the military stationed in Virgina. I continued to pay but I was of low rank so i never had the money to fly out there to see him in California, then I was moved to South Carolina to my next station. I between those times I have been to Iraq! But I do call at least every other day to talk to him! Well a little over a year ago I met someone.. first thing she did was hold my son from me over that. Then she wouldn't answer my calls, then weeks later she would act like she was my best friend then she would change again. Well now me and that person have been together for over a year now and last year I got out the military and have been looking for work but haven't found anything. Since that year she has had 7 boyfriends and been married Twice now! She has moved to three different states and moved over 5 times with my son! Now that she knows i am not working she has went to her current state of Washington and had a child support order put on me in the amount of $425 a month which my fiance has been helping me pay until about two months when my fiance got really sick and we then couldn't afford to pay it.. I am still calling but she wont really answer but she will text me if I text her. I am suppose to be getting a check from me going to school online which is like a rebate for whats left over from all the grants and i plan on catching up on child support and paying up on a couple more months... I just cant afford to fly out from SC to Washington. She says that I am a bad father for that? I ask about him all the time and I talk to him on the phone and ask for pictures(which she doesnt allow me to have) Well.....with all this what rights do I have?? We have no actual custody papers in order right now...Can I tell her I dont want my son moving to Hawaii?? Thats even further from me.. PLEASE HELP????:(

Okay...I made it to your last sentence. At this point, you have absolutely no right to visitation or limitation as to where she moves with the child. You need to file for C/V, although at this point, it is doubtful that a court would order that she cannot move to HI with her husband, especially as you live on opposite coasts as it is and you essentially do not have an established relationship with the child.
