I recently returned to work from my maternity leave. Before I went on my maternity leave I was working during days from 7am to 7 pm. While I was on my maternity leave we got a whole new management staff. (Office manager, Operations Manager) When I finally decided to come off of maternity leave I was told the only shift available was working from 7pm to 7am. Are they able to change my schedule like that right after I have my baby or am I supposed to be able to return to my pre-existing terms.

That depends. Were you on FMLA? Are there at least 50 employees within a 75 mile radius? Have you worked there at least one year and 1250 hours in the past year? Were you out no longer than 12 weeks? Had you not taken leave would your shift still have been changed?
