I was recently written up at work for images that were "supposedly" found on my computer. I have no idea what they are talking about and denied the charge but was written up anyway. After weeks of arguing I am finally being allowed to veiw what it was I was written up for. I also requested copies of each image for my records. My employer has told me that anything on their computer becomes their property and I have no right to any copies (and implied I should be grateful I get to veiw the images at all). Do I have the right to have my own copies of all the evidence surrounding what I was wrtten up for?

Sorry, no, you don't. The employer is not a court of law and the evidence rules in a court don't apply here.

In Arizona only Public employees are entitled to view their personnel files.
Most company's have some sort of internal procedure for removing bad paper work.
