Lord have mercy- that bio momma is insane. she called tonight and asked to talk to me and commenced to chewing me up one side and down the other- her husband was in the background threatening both me and my husband. She was absolutely nuts. I kept telling her she needed to talk to my husband and she kept saying I was the b**ch she was after.
So, I have put in a call to our atty telling her to file ER hearing to stop visitation or at least move it here. Hopefully she can get it filed tom, cause I know she is filing something. She kept saying that she would see us before the 29th and I better have her baby ready to go on the 29th. NUTS!
Sad thing is, first time she has called our house in over a year and never asked about her daughter or to speak with her or anything.

maybe you should let all calls go to the voicemail from now on- or only communicate in writing

well, I had been checking and as of close on Fri- nothing had been filed. Well, we got back and the paperwork is going to be filed mon morn. I think WWIII is about to start. After 3 hrs with atty, her recommendation- petition to TPR!!! We'll all know when she gets served cause the whole country will hear her.

I don't know enough about your sitch to know how it got to that point, but, I do know, it would be hard for any mom to face being cut out of their kids life, so I guess the last sentance just rubs me wrong a bit, if this is the right thing for kiddo, then so be it, but please do proceed with compassion.....:o

I was referring to the evil phone call I got when we tried to modify visitation. I imagine she will be on my doorstep with this action, not that I care. compassion? yea right. This woman has shown no compassion or even caring for her child in 12 years. She has had rights to 2 other kids terminated for abuse. She refuses to learn how to take care of this child's medical needs. She refuses to pay CS (close to 40k in arrears). She has contacted the child 5 times in 9 YEARS!!!!! So, no- I feel no compassion for her at all. She did this to herself. I am a mother too and I can imagine how I would feel if anyone even thought about trying to keep my kids from me, but the difference is that I care about my kids. She may care somewhere down deep, but she has never shown it and the child has suffered for 12 years. I feel compassion for the child- that is all.
