Why is there a custodial parent for a 20 year old?
Are you still paying CS?
I believe unless it is specified in your divorce decree, you do not have to pay for college.

there is a custodial parent of a 20 yr old because it is New York State law that until 21 yrs old we pay child support..it is only now that the custodial parent believes I am making more money and wants a upward modification and wants me to help pay college fees...no problem there also if the child proved herself to be more responsible..she is in college for all the wrong reasons...X-boyfriend is there for starters and next the mother just wants her out of her house..

I always forget that about NY. :o
I believe if college was not addressed in the divorce decree, then no, it is not a requirement that you pay for it.
