One more addition to my ongoing job issues i got a new job worked one day and the second day on my way to work was in a car accident. Because of the transport problems and how I got hurt I was unable to call or go in. I understand being let go but never received payment for the one day. Do I even get paid?
Yes they have to pay you for the hours worked.

Contact the employer again. If they refuse to pay, file a claim with the state Dept. of Labor.

Im assuming payroll tax stuff. Like I said I only worked one day and had a car accident, but they never attempted to contact me after the first few days. I was in the hospital and when I got out I left messages and until a couple days ago never spoke to anyone.

Well, theoretically, they could pay you without the "tax stuff". Just withhold at Single-0 for federal income tax and 15% of FIT (I think it is) for state income tax.
So, did you go in and fill out the paperwork?
