Ok, so to start off -- divorce was final Nov 96--we were married 3 years and have 2 beautiful kids, ages now 3 and 4. We currently have joint custody, however 4 year old starts school this fall. I want to put 3 year old in preschool as well.. Our current parenting plan calls for split everything w/ custody. We live 2 hours apart and can not agree where the children will reside when school starts. I need to get her registered for school asap, I can not afford an attorney. I work 9a-530p Monday-Friday and dont know what to do. I believe that we have to go back to court to get a new parenting plan..Can anyone offer any advice? thanx..I dont care about getting child support from him.

You can file for a modification without an attorney. The Judge will decide based on what is in the childrens' best interests. To help your case, you should gather info about the schools you wish to enroll the kids in.
