I work for the state. And I received a write for something that happened on Feb.19,2007 and was not told of any action towards me until I received the write up on March 13,2007. And was forced to sign it. If I didn't sign it when I was told, I felt that my superiors were going to do another action against me! I heard that it was at least 7 working days max. I am not sure but I sure would like to know.:confused:

You heard incorrectly. There is no law addressing this matter at all; they can take as long as they like.
