My employer provides paid time off, and also provids overtime for worked hours over 40 during a weeks pay period. I worked 34 hours in 3 days, and requested paid time off for the 2 remaining days. When I received my check I was expecting to see 34 hours regular, and 16 hours pto. But instead I received 34 regular hours, and 6 pto hours. Being that I worked 34 hours, then requested to us 16 hours pto should I not be paid the full amount?

That's entirely up to the employer. All the law requires is that you be paid for all the time you actually worked, which you were. The law does not address payment for vacation or PTO. How the employee applies such benefits is up to them.
