 THE COMPANY I WORKED FOR PAYS YOU VACATION ON THE DAY YOU TAKE YOUR VACATION, NOT ON YOUR ANNIVERSARY DAY.BUT YOU GET FIRED BEFORE YOU TAKE YOUR VACATION.BUT MY ANNIERSARY DAY HAS ALREADY PASSED. ARE YOU STILL ENTITLED TO YOUR VACATION PAY????
Please do not type in all caps. It makes your post hard to read and is considered shouting on the Internet.
The answer to your question depends entirely on company policy. No law in any state requires an employer to provide vacation in the first place; it's entirely up to the employer to decide when and how it can be used.
That being said, in NC the employer is required to follow their written policy, whatever that may be.
