Start time was 7am thursday until 11:15 am the following day friday. Lunch break was one hour at noon, and then dinner at 10pm for one hour. My employer is saying that I have 8 regular hours, 15 OT hours and only 3.5 Dbl time hours. I thought that it was 8 reg, 4 ot and 15 DBl time hours. I did not work any regular hours on Friday. I went home after 11:15am. Shouldnt those hours be on one shift and at dbl time?????

Well the first thing that needs to be clarified is what the work day is. A work day is any 24 hour period, as set by the employer. This is a set 24 hours period, not a rolling 24 hour period.

If we assume that the work day is 12:00am - 11:59pm this is how I would compute O/T:

7am - 12midnight = 15 working hours (8 reg, 4ot, 3 dt)
12mightnight - 11:15 = 11.25 working hours (8 reg, 3.25 ot)

Total of 16 regular hours, 7.25 OT, and 3 dt. In your case it looks like they took the first 8 hours of the second working day and paid it as overtime, which they didn't legally have to do, if the work day is infact 12:00am - 11:59pm.
