Okay.....We have recieved the letter of termination....which shows false information....they have claimed that he was to show up for a full work day on a day he was still in school....And not yet a full-time employee....They have also stated that a day and time for the exit interview was informed to him....Which is not true....as well as making claims that he did not show up for work on day where he worked from home (which is an option from time to time) even though he had informed, either through email or phone, that it was going to be the case (I also believe that there is something written about working from home in his contract)....I could give more information on this....and go on for quite a while....But long story short.....He is curious if he would somehow be able to take the company to small claims court for lost wages....If you need more info ill glady provide...

You have used shorthand that I really don't have time to interpret. If you can edit your post to use complete sentences, that would really help the responders figure out exactly what the situation is.

We don't know who "me" is. If this is a follow up with more information, it would be helpful if you would tack this on to your original post so that the responders will have the entire story in one place. Thanks for understanding.

Original post here http://www.laborlawtalk.com/showthread.php?t=172713

There is no law that requires an employer to be truthful in terminating an employee, and I don't see that this changes any of the responses you received to your original post.
