I have a small in home childcare business with 1 full time employee and a part time employee (my mom) that are on a payroll service. Do I need to carry workmans comp on both of them? Only the fulltime one? Or none at all because the size of my business?

I am just finding this out that I am suppose to have Workman's Comp on all the employee's, how much trouble am I in for not having it up until now? I had no idea I needed to have it with such a small business.

Thanks

Oh, and just to make a petty comment, it is workers' comp, not workman's. I hope that information will make your life complete. lol.
