We live in Illionois but subcontracted from a huge company in North Carolina. We have always been pain by the hour. We had employees that would work over 40 hr. We paid the overtime but the company wouldn't pay us the overtime. We couldn't work over 40 without their permission. Shouldn't we be intitled to overtime since we do have to pay it out to our employees. There was not a contract stating saying we were not entited.

While your employees must be paid overtime, you are not necessarily able to pass on your costs.
