Hello!

I was referred to a temporary agency to apply for a position in a company that I was really interested in working for. I left my job and started through the temp agency at that company after 2 days. After working full time for 6 months I was told that they weren't hiring positions and sorry I wasn't needed any longer.

The temp agency has no work for me that is comparable to the job that I was doing. They specifically told me that they don't have anything at the moment.

I've applied for unemployment, but I'm scared because I was through a temp service they won't give it to me. Can anyone help?

Oh, trust me, working in a temp agency does not qualify you from unemployment eligibility if they no longer have work available for you!
