First, I want to thank those that reponded to my first post about appealing my unemployment determination.

I did file it on 2/12/07. On 2/13/07 I got a letter from the unemployment office that stated that the appeal request was acknowledged, and that the employer had 5 days to respond. Well, its 2/23/07 and I have not heard anything yet. How long do I have to wait to see if the employer responded? Or does the employer even have to respond to the appeal?

I am anxious to know if they responded. Usually, the UE office usually gets back to me the next day via mail, and its been 5 days past the dealine for the employer.

You need to be patient. The UC office will notify you regarding the disposition of your claim in due course. It takes as long as it takes.
