Also employer stated spouse is not allowed on property unless they are a paying individual. Employer "threatened" spouse regarding no being allowed on property. It may be a stupid move and they may lose a good employee for no good reason, but no law states you can't fire an employee because their spouse committed a crime. If you don't want to provide details (such as what felony the spouse committed and what job duties the other spouse is being barred from doing) it is impossible to give you a specific answer. There's no reason for anyone's spouse to be on the employer's property unless they are an employee or a customer. |
