I work for a small municipality. Recently a community college in town started building a new campus. This job is state funded so everyone on the project gets paid prevailing wages. As a employee of the municipality I was given the duty to inspect the installation of water and sewer main on the project. I do not recieve payment from the contractor but the contractor pays the utillity to have me there. I do not receive the prevailing wage. I cant get a answer from my employer as to whether or not I am eligible for the higer wage. Any help would be appreciated.
