Is your lease legal if only one person signs it in md? I recently re signed my lesae but was told it was not legal because my husband had not signed it. He was out ogf the country and when he got back, we had planned on doing month to month, but said we had to stay the full 6 moinths because I already signed it. I am wondering if this is true? thank You

A lease is a legal binding contract. You signed it and are responsible for the terms of the lease. You might try negotiating with your landlord when you decide to move. For instance, you can help find a replacement tenant or offer two months rent as a buy out.
