My wife and I are getting divorced and I need to find a new apartment. My wife can afford to stay in our current apartment but doesn't feel safe because of recent events. Specifically, swastikas have been left in various common areas of the apartment building (lobby and elevator). She is of the Jewish faith and obviously no longer feels safe in the apartment. Therefore, she wants to move out by the end of the month. This would mean breaking our lease. I can not find any information online as to whether this is a valid reason. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Lots of people don't like people for whatever stupid imaginable reason. It can be due to ethnicity, color, place of origin, sex etc. Your soon to be x-wife needs to get thicker skin. Have the owners paint over it or do it yourself.
