Hello ,

I live and work in NH for a Client B.
My current employer A is based out of NJ.
Last year when I joined A they made me sign a non-compete agreement. This was based on the fact that they would sponsor my H1b visa. Eventually they failed to do that.

I still continue to work with them, but plan on leavng them soon, As I am now married to my hubby from NH and have a permit to work, (based on my hubby's sponsorship)

When I told my current employer I will leave them, they said I can, but must not work with the client. After they broke their part of the deal, will the agreement I signed still hold good??

Thanks for reading and also your advise, if you should have any.

Only an attorney in your state who has read the agreement you signed can answer that question.
