I work for a company that that frequently has me go on service calls on weekends after my regular 40 hrs. work week. Is there a law in PA that says how many minimum hours they must pay me and if it would be 1 1/2 or straight time. They used to pay me 4 hours 1 1/2 even if I worked less than 4 hrs. But now it changed to time worked at 1 1/2 or 4 hrs. straight time which ever is higher. Thanks

There is not a minimum number of hours that the employer must pay you, but if you have already worked more than 40 hours, you need to be paid time and a half for the hours worked.

Your employer's plan works. It pays you more than required by law if you work less than 2 2/3 hours or what is required by law if you work more.
