I have been with my current company for 2 years and 4 months. I am considering resigning from my position and would like to know if my employer will be required to pay out my three weeks of unused paid vacation time upon my resignation. Any information you can offer would be helpful. Thanks!

Q. Am I entitled to my unused vacation when I am fired or quit?

A. Nevada requires payment only for time worked and does not require payment for vacation time.

Federal law does not require it either.
