Recently my work layed off about 8 people and due to that they told me that i can no longer work from home and i need to find childcare for my 9 month old within 1 week.
i dont qualify for any aid in child care costs. I make only $1500 per month after taxes, and childcare costs about $1000 per month
i told them i couldnt and they agreed to "let me go" due to scheduling conflict. now they are trying to tell me that i am resigning so i cant get my unemployment until i find a job that has daycare on site.
my question is, if i do end up resigning, would i be eligable for unemployment because of lack or childcare/change in schedule?
thanks!
