I was recently let go from my job because a new management company was brought in with their own people. I am to be given 3 weeks "bonus pay" up front and then 9 weeks severance pay, which will be paid out weekly. How are the 3 weeks and the 9 weeks treated for unemployment purposes? Will I have to wait 12 weeks before I can get unemployment compensation? (When I make a claim online, how do I show this compensation?)
