I am a 56 year old female that was recently terminated after 16 years employment. The reasons give for my termination were the need to restructure the department and that a more "degreed" individual was needed.
A new, younger individual is being hired to replace me. My performance appraisals have always been above average. I have been offered a severance package which I will need to complete and return with my election however, I feel as though I have been targeted unjustly and am inclined to pursue the wrongful termination. What can I do?? Please Help!
