Hello-
I just turned in my resignation. The verbal agreement (and what I have been compensaded the past year) was salary plus commision. Our commission is based off of paid clients from the previous month (December 15th I received my salary plus commision from all paid client accounts that came in during the month of November) Our Gm decided the past month to group our sales territories,(which still covered the same amount of counties) into teams of two and split our commision. (from 10% down to 5%)
So I have now turned in my resignation and taken a new Job, I offered two weeks notice but that was declined. What will my previous employer owe me for?
Payroll is paid on the 1st and the 15th, commisions are only paid on the 15th for the previous month. I turned in my notice the 2nd of January.
I have not taken my vacation owed. My biggest concern is if the commision will be payed.
Thank you for any help.
