Just wondering if a mandatory charitable deduction can be taken from an employee's paycheck without thier consent. Also. what if the person works as an independant contractor such as a real estate agent?

Fighting this with your employer could cause your dismissal tho. Hard situation. Pattymd 12-25-2006, 06:45 AM Pennsylvania law requires the employee's written authorization to deduct anything but taxes and other deductions required by law. Now, if you are an independent contractor, the wage and hour laws do not apply to you. |
