Hoping someone has the answer to this. I work in a state facility with about 200 workers. FMLA is a given. My question is what paper work is needed beyond the initial form? Our
employer was accepting the initial form and allowing 6 month
to 12 month FMLA. That changes as of January 1st of this coming year, and if you get in prior to this your FMLA will run
the 6-12 months til it expires. The change is that our employer is requiring those who have FMLA to go back monthly to their doctors and they have to resubmit for the FMLA. Is this a breach of the FMLA act in that they are really
asking for additional information? Aren't they actually asking for an update, and actually harassing people doing this?
