I have searched the U.S. Department of Labor and the NV Business & Industry websites and I cannot find anything regarding requirements for determining job abandonment.
I've read that it is considered good practice to give a minimum of 3 days to allow for any extraordinary circumstances (i.e.: hospitalization, being stranded without a phone, etc.), but there are no clear-cut legal guidelines for this. Can anyone shed some light on this for me? Thanks.
