I have been with an organization for 9 years and recently was denied a 12 week leave of absence. The leave of absence was requested so that I can take the California bar. I do not know if I should resign or let my Paid time off run out and then leave it up to the employer to terminate. What should I do...please advice. :o :o

An employer does not have to give you a leave of absence.

Use your paid time off and then quit.

It's up to you how you want to handle it, but cyjeff is correct that your employer has no legal obligation to give you a leave of absence.
