As an exempt employee I am being required to work close to 60 hours per work week, including Saturdays (6 days). If I am not at work on a Saturday, they require me to use a vacation day. Is this legal? I have put in well over 40 hours by Friday when I go home. I get vacation accrued by the hour, (up to 40 hours used to accumulate) But they want to deduct vacation for hours (Sat) that are not being used to accumulate vacation. If these hours are not being used to accumulate more vacation hours, why should these hours be used to deduct my vacation either? Thanks for your help.

Sorry, but it's legal. It might or might not be unreasonable, but there's nothing in the law that prohibits it.
