I work for a MS based company in Africa. I signed a two year contract with the company in Aug 2006 and moved my family out. Two weeks ago someone at the company found out my husband has a felony record. The company fired me the following Monday. The company knew my husband had a felony before hiring me. My husband does NOT work for the company. The company is saying they can fire "at will". I did sign a two year contract. I did not do anything wrong. I have contacted the main company in Mississippi; they have not done anything. Can you advise? Thank you!

If an enforceable contract is involved, get an attorney.

I don't understand how the company knew about your husband's past and then fired you because of it, but I suppose I have seen stranger things.
