Can an employer force you to carrying health insurance? My employer pays an extrs 5.oo an hour for non-benefit status to get this you have to prove you have health insurance from another company(i.e. spouses employer or other job) if you dont have insurance you cant opt out of our companys health insurance and get the extra 5.oo. Do they have the right to demand i carrying insurance?

Employers have the right to pay what they want to whom they want as long as it does not violate discrimination laws.

Having health insurance is a good thing. Any employer that donates $40 a day towards that is tops in my book. $800 a month can get you a health and life polocy. This will set you up for life!
