If I have been hired to work at location x can I be required to work in another location, different town, no parking with little or no notice? I take the T to location x. I can take the T to location y but then can't get back to my car without an incredibly long and convoluted commute.

Bottom line is, you can be required to work wherever the employer needs you to work on little or no notice.
Laws won't protect you on this. While employers do not have to consider the employee's transportation woes, it is good practice to keep them in mind when making job assignments.

Employers can certainly change the place where employees work, but you didn't say whether it was permanent, temporary or otherwise. With that in mind, here's an additional concept that might help your thinking.
The MA regulations require that "if an employee who regularly works at a fixed location is required, for the convenience of the employer, to report to a location other than his or her regular work site, the employee shall be compensated for all travel time in excess of his or her ordinary travel time between home and work with allowance for associated travel expenses."
So, if your situation fits that regulation, you may be entitled to compensation for the additional commute time.
.
As usual, I learned something new ... Phil, do you have a citation for that regulation?
Thanks in advance. :)

I report to an office every morning and then take a company truck to the job site. My office Manger tells me I get paid for the drive to the job site but my time stops when I finish work for the day. Then I must drive the company truck back to the office on my own time. Is this right ? Most times I have an hour or more drive back to the office

If you are required to return the vehicle to the office, then the time must be paid.

You could also look to the Massachusetts Regulations at 455 CMR 2.03(4)(a) and (b). Here's a link to those regs.: http://www.mass.gov/dos/forms/mw-regulations_20030425.pdf
